Personal Injury

If you or your child has suffered a personal injury you may be entitled to compensation.

In most cases, a person who seeks compensation for an injury must firstly submit their claim to the Injuries Board.  See www.injuriesboard.ie.

If the other party does not dispute liability and accepts responsibility for your injuries then the claim will be assessed by the Board. The assessment will be based on medical evidence and using what is known as the Book of Quantum. Both parties are entitled to accept or reject the Board’s assessment of compensation. If either party rejects the assessment then you will be provided with an Authorisation which allows you to pursue the matter further in the courts.

If you have suffered an injury and wish to seek compensation please do not hesitate to contact us. We will arrange to meet you at a once off no commitment consultation to take the details of your accident and advise of your legal rights and entitlements, if any.*

* In contentious business a solicitor may not calculate fees or other charges as a percentage or proportion of any award or settlement.
